Scoped Rifle 2 – May 4th – Kingsbury

Let’s take the next step.  Once we get past getting to know the rifle we can push into new skills, which give us more solutions.  

Scoped rifle 2 is a skill building course that should round out the shooter to be able to complete all skills from SR1 with added stress, higher expectations, and fewer accomodations.  

Topic covered include:
Precise zero
Deeper dive into MIL/MOA
Wind calculations and bracketing
Perfection in scope use
Shooting precision under time requirements
Ranging with the reticle
Rapid target engagement at distance
Conventional and unconventional shooting positions

Equipment:
Eye pro
Ear Pro
300 rounds capable of 3 MOA (if you have problems with hitting a 3MOA target, bring more)
Rifle capable of 3 MOA
Scope
Sling
Means to support rifle (Bipod, tripod, shooting bag)
Day pack
All necessary tools to adjust your rifle and scope
Small notebook and means to write
Appropriate clothing for the climate

Prerequisites: Carbine 1 and Scoped Rifle 1
We will be honing and developing our skills for precision shooting both with and without distance.  Both with and without support.  Both while comfortable and while uncomfortable.
